Paris Saint-German’s late come back in the first quarter-final of this season UEFA Champions League taking place in Lisbon, Portugal behind close door, have sent Atalanta out of the competition.

Mario Pasalic scored for Atalanta in the 27th minute of the game after Neymar Jr, missed a glorious chance in the 9th minute to put PSG ahead in the game. The first-half ended 1-0 in favour of Atalanta but PSG dominated with 63% to 32% of the ball possession.

In the second half, Marquinhos prodded home fortuitous equalizer in the 90th minute before Neymar Jr and Mbappe combined to set up Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to become the unlikely hero and break Atalanta heart.

After scoring the winning goal in the game Eric said: “When I came on I thought to myself, ‘We can’t lose, we can’t go home like that’. I was confident in myself, confident in the team and then the rest is history of Paris. We had a good feeling in the team. We’re are enjoying good moments on and off the pitch”.

This is the first time PSG will play in the semi-finals of the competition since 1995. PSG will now face either RB Leipzig or Atletico Madrid next Tuesday.
