Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace was all Mikel Arteta’s boys needed to go through to final of the FA Cup, the oldest national football competition in the world.

The Gunners will now face the winner between Manchester United and Chelsea on Saturday August 1, 2020 at the Wembley stadium.

Manchester United and Chelsea will battle it out today by 6pm at the Wembley stadium in the second semi-final of the FA Cup.

Aubameyang score in the 19th minute when he converted Nicolas Pepe’s half-volley pass Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson into the back of the net.

In the second half the Gabonese striker scored the second goal in the 71st minute when he ran onto Kieran Tierney’s pass and shoot the ball under Ederson’s legs into the net.

The Gunners have just 4 shots all were on target and 20% ball possession while the Citizens have 17 shots 3 on target and 72% ball possession.

Arsenal have reached the FA Cup final a record 21 times, with the Gunners also winning the competition more than any other side (13).

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the fourth Arsenal player to score a competitive brace at Wembley Stadium, after Reg Lewis (1950 FA Cup final), Charlie Nicholas (1987 League Cup final) and Alexis Sanchez (2015 FA Cup semi-final).

Nicolas Pepe has been involved in 17 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season (8 goals, 9 assists) – only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (27) has been involved in more.

Both teams return to Premier League action on Tuesday July 21, Arsenal will travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa (8:15pm), while Manchester City will travel to Vicarage Road to play Watford (6:00pm)
