Festus Arthur has penned down a three-years contract with the Tigers for an undisclosed fee from Stockport County Fc.
The 20-year-old is a powerful centre-half who can also operate in midfield.
Speaking after completing his move to the KCOM Stadium, Arthur said: “I’m very happy to be a Hull City player. It’s something that’s been going on for a while now and I’m just excited to finally join the club.
“I’ve had a good chat with the gaffer and I like him as a person. I’m looking forward to working with him and getting to know my new team-mates. I just can’t wait to get going.”
Arthur made his first-team debut for County as a substitute in a 3-2 win over Barrow at Edgeley Park.
While on the books of Stockport County Fc, Arthur won the Grahame White Young Player of the Year award.
The award was created to remember the former Vice-Chairman Grahame White, who did so much to keep the club alive in the late 1980s.
