Bentake and Batshuayi missing in Belgium squad to face Denmark and

Christian Benteke Liolo of Crystal Palace and Michy Batshuayi-Atunga of Chelsea, both Premier League players are missing in Belgium squad as Roberto Martinez call up players for next month’s Nation League matches against Denmark and Iceland.

Marinez called up Anderlecht youngesters Jérémy Doku, 18, and Landry Nany Dimata, 22, to replace them.

Doku has established himself as a first-team player at Anderlecht, while Dimata is just returning from injury.

Thomas Vermaelen was not also included in the 29-man squad but the coach explained that the defender would be added if his travel from Japan could be cleared.

Belgium is to travel to face Denmark on September 5 before hosting Iceland three days later in Group A2, which also features England.
