The Kenyan Government have asked schools in the country to refund the school fees to all parents and guardians for the 2020 academic session.
Kenya’s Minister of Education, George Magoha, made this known to the citizeens of the country.
He announced that primary and secondary schools would remain closed until 2021 as the Coronavirus cases in the country keeps rising.
According to the Minister, the schools are to either to refund this year’s school fees or put it to next year’s academic session.
The Minister added that academic calendar for the year 2020 has been declared null due to the pandemic, and all the students are to repeat a year as schools had closed in March, just three months after the school calendar had begun.
