Everton 1-3 Manchester United: Cavani netted his first goal

Edinson Cavani netted his first goal in the Premier League as Manchester United defeated Everton 1-3 at Goodison Park.

The Toffees took the lead through Bernard in the 19th minutes when he strikes the ball towards goal from the edge of the penalty box and it goes straight inside the left post.

The Red Devils equalized six minute later when a nice lofted pass into the box by Luke Shaw was pounced on by Bruno Fernandes. His close-rage header flashes past Jordan Pickford and into the right of the goal.

The Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes put United ahead and double the lead in the 32 minutes to make it 1-2.

Bruno latches on to a precise pass inside the penalty box abd produces a sweet strike that beats the goalkeeper as it goes inside the right post, bouncing in off the post.

Edinson Cavani came on in the 82 minutes for Anthony Martial and on the hour mark he received a precise pass inside the box from Bruno Fernandes and he beats the goalkeeper with a neat finish into the side of the net, 1-3 it ended in favour of United.

On Friday (November 6) Brighton and Hove Albion played a goalless draw with Burnley at the American Express Community Stadium, while Southampton beat Newcastle 2-0 at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Che Adams and Stuart Armstrong the goal scorers.
