Nigerians have taken to twitter to share their opinion on the prison break which occurred in a prison popularly known as “White House” in Edo State.
Recall that earlier today, there was a jail break in the state which led to the government imposing a dusk to dawn curfew. Subsequently, Nigerians have accused the Edo state government of being the mastermind behind the act.
According to some twitter users, the curfew was done in order to prevent the #EndSARS protesters in the state from engaging in the protest.
Others questioned how the prisoners were able to escape from the prisons fence, asking about the whereabouts of the prison guards.
Some were also curious as to why prisoners who had been in the prison for long would be thoroughly shaved, wearing gold chains and even leaving with their bags.
See some reactions below ;
It’s like they prepared for this break o. See clean shave, neck chain… pink lips! Omo! Nigeria Prisons are amazing 😂 Prisoners come out looking fresh after four years. Waawu. pic.twitter.com/OdnUsXQyCz

The thugs didn't break into the prison. The prisoners were released illegally by authorities to pin it on the protesters.
Don't mistake it for the other. #EndSARS

From what I’ve seen, the prisoners in Benin escaped without any resistance from inside the prisons.
Infact the wardens are just nowhere to be found. This is clearly an inside job.
Before media houses twist the story,
Let it be clear that Benin prisons chose to let this happen.
