Finidi George who is a former Super Eagles player has come out to say he is ready for any of the national teams job.
The 49-year-old winger was a member of the 1994 Super Eagles team that won the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
He holds a UEFA Coaching License and has been severally linked with the Nigeria national under-17 football team coaching job, having previously worked with the youth team of Real Mallorca in Spain.
Speaking to TVC News the former Calabar Rovers and Real Betis prolific winger expressed his readiness to coach Nigeria at any level.
“I think I’m ready but it doesn’t depend on me. I just have to wait and see what the NFF are willing to do.”
“If I’m appointed, I’m willing to do the jobs. I’m just…..well, my fingers (are) crossed, and I hope they will come up with the list very soon. I don’t know when, but I just hope I’m appointed.”
Finidi won the UEFA Champions League in 1995 while playing for Ajax Amsterdam, he also played for Real Betis and Mallorca in Spain and Ipswich Town in England.
He netted 6 goals in 62 appearances for the senior national team of Nigeria, the Super Eagles between 1991 to 2002.
