Manchester United and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes has been named premier league player for the month of June.
Bruno won the Premier League Player of the Month in February before football was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This make him the first Manchester United player to win the award back-to-back since his country man Cristiano Ronaldo won it way back in 2006.
Since the return of football last month, Bruno has scored 5 goals, created 3 assists and produced 12 chances for his team-mates.
Bruno also won the goal of the month award for his emphatic volleyed finish at the end of a swift counter-attack in United’s 3-0 victory at Brighton on June 30.
He has been instrumental United’s 17-game unbeaten run.
Last night, the Red Devils became the Premier League team in history to win four consecutive games by three goals or more, after they beat Aston Villa 3-0 at Villa Park the home ground of Aston Villa.
Bruno scored the first goal in that game from the penalty spot, after the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) awarded a controversial penalty to United.
