Mircea Lucescu has been named Dynamo Kiev new head coach.

The Former Romania, Inter Milan and Turkey boss Mircea Lucescu was appointed as the new Dynamo Kiev gaffer.

The 74-year-old Romanian football manager, penned down a two-year contract with an option for a further year.

Mircea is best known for his decorated spell at Shakhtar, which saw him win eight league titles, six Ukrainian Cups, seven Ukrainian Super Cups and a UEFA Cup.

Dynamo finished the Ukrainian Premier League season with 23 points behind champions Shakhtar , who clinched a fourth consecutive tittle with five rounds of fixtures to go.

The 2020/21 Ukrainian Premier League season begins in September.
