Lizbeth Flora, an American mother of two has been found dead barely few days after she was declared missing.

It was reported that the 23-year-old went missing  on August 9, after leaving her Texas home to see her boyfriend in Matamoros and never returned.

According to her mother, Maria Rubio, Lizbeth promised to return home that night after travelling to see her boyfriend at Matamoros, the Mexican city Border.

However, when she didn’t return home that night, her mother filed a missing person’s report at the Brownsville Police Department in Texas.

On August 11, 2020, the decomposing body of Lizbeth Flora was found and according to the police, she was hit by a stone (which was found in the scene of the incident) as she died from severe head injuries.

It was also reported that her teeth were completely pulled out forcefully with her scalp been removed.

Speaking on the death of her daughter, Her mother told Telemundo;

Losing a child is like having your heart ripped out. I feel very sad for what they did to my daughter. How they left her is what pains me. The pain that my daughter went through there at that time is what pains me

Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the dead.
