The Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Professor Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei, has reportedly slumped during the ongoing probe by the House of Representative Committee on NDDC.
It was gathered that while the lawmakers were interrogating Mr. Pondei on the finances of the NDDC, he slumped.
The committee was set up to investigate the alleged misappropriation of funds in the commission.
Mr Pondei was questioned over the sum of N536 million which was paid to a group associate in the Niger Delta region.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned.
