Nigerian youths on twitter have taken to the social media platform to set up their own political party which they named Youth Democratic Party.
According to the Nigerian youths, they want a complete rebuild of the Nigerian system which has failed since its independence in 1960.
The new political party is coming in the light of the recent #SARSMUSTEND protests which had youths takin to the streets to protest against the brutality of the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Many of the youths believe that the older generations have ruled the country for too long and it was time for the younger generation to take over.
A twitter user also suggested that an online fundraiser be created fr youths to donate in the course o registering the party and to support their preferred candidates.
