The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended the planned strike after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government.
Recall that the Nigeria Labour Congress planned striking as a result of the increase in electricity tariff and hike in fuel price.
Taking to Twitter, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, disclosed that the strike has been suspended after the NLC and the Federal Government had a productive meeting which took place at midnight.
Keyamo also noted that the electricity tariffs has been suspended by the Federal Government for two weeks.
He said;
