Following the #SARSMUSTEND campaign which was initially banned in Rivers state by the sitting Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, however, youths in the state turned up for the protest massively.
The protesters who marched peacefully from the state’s Pleasure Park, down to the Government house, were addressed by the Governor after they insisted on seeing him.
According to the governor, Rivers State was the worst hit by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, and he was in full support of the dissolution of the unit.
Governor Wike further stated that the live of every Rivers State resident and indigene was important to him as he urged the protesters to support the total reform of the police force.

Wike has never liked sars sha since 2016 or so
