Ondo State Health Commissioner, Wahab Adegbenro, has died from COVID-19, few weeks after testing positive to the virus.
Earlier this week, The Governor of the state, Akeredolu Rotimi, also tested positive to the virus, and is currently in isolation.
A source disclosed that the commissioner died on Thursday, July 2nd 2020, after he was rushed to a hospital in Owo area of the state.
A government official revealed that Mr Wahab died of COVID-19 because he had contracted the virus earlier and was taking drugs at his own comfort being a medical doctor.
The commissioner died at the Federal Medical Centre (F.M.C) Owo, Ondo State.
