Istanbul Basaksehir beat Manchester United 2-1 to end their unbeaten run in the group stage at the Basksehir Faith Terim Stadyumu stadium.
Formal Chelsea striker Demba Ba gave Basaksehir the lead in the 13th minutes when he makes a great solo run and pulls the trigger from inside the box, beating Dean Henderson in goal with a strike into the bottom right corner of the net.
Edin Visca double the lead in the 40th minutes when he received a perfect pass from Deniz Turuc for a great chance inside the box and slot the ball pass the goalkeeper.
Three minutes later United reduced the score line to 2-1, when a nice lofted pass into the box by Luke Shaw was pounced on by Anthony Martial. His close-range header flashes past Mert Gunok and into the right of the goal.
The first-half ended 2-1 in favour of Istanbul Basaksehir.
United have lost four of their last six away matches at Turkish opposition in all competitions (W2), including each of their last three.
Manchester United will be Everton’s guest in the Premier League on Saturday, while Basaksehir will host Genclerbirligi on Sunday.
