Formal Arsenal boss Unai Emery Etxegoien has been appointed as Villarreal head coach.
The 48-year-old Spanish football manager penned down a three-year deal with the Yellow Submarine, who finished in fifth-place in the LaLiga Santander this season (2019-20).
Emery took over from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium in 2018 but failed to qualify the Gunners to Champions League.
It is the first time Emery is returning to coaching after he was released of his duty by the Gunners last November following his poor performance at the Emirates Stadium with just one win in nine games in all competitions.
Unai Emery appointed as Villarreal Head Coach, replaced Javier Calleja, who left Villarreal at the end of the season.
