Arsenal has signed Brazil international, Willian Borges da Silva, commonly known as Willian, from Premier League rivals Chelsea on a three-year deal.
He will remain at the Emirate Stadium until the summer of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward spent seven years at Stamford Bridge where he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and the Europa League. He made 339 appearances, with 63 goals and 56 assists in that time. Willian will wear jersey number 12.
Before joining the Gunners he once played for Corinthians in Brazil, Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia and Chelsea in Enland.
During his time playing for Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Premier League, he won four Ukrainian Premier League titles and the Uefa Cup in 2009.
Willian, last month secured a place in the record books when he became the first player to have scored a Premier League goal in every month of the year.
